The Green Economics Institute is a leading think tank in this area that provides innovation and new ideas. We provide a platform for expert researchers, diplomats, politicians, economists and campaigners to engage and work together on transforming existing narratives about the green economy and transition to better implemented green policies.

We run our own large and lively delegations to the United Nations Climate Change and Biodiversity annual conferences with participants from across the globe. We pride ourselves on being leaders in diversity and amplifying the voices of commonly marginalised groups and highlighting the experiences of indigenous populations.

The GEI runs one of world’s leading green academic journals which is double blind peer reviewed and now in its 16th year. We also have a publishing house and have 100+ books in print at the moment. We also have conference proceedings that we have released throughout the years. These projects form the foundation on which our diplomacy is built.

We host one annual 3-day conference and regular monthly conferences on a variety of themes. Our last conference attracted up to 5000 people. We have developed the green economy through our main conference and through this unique space, we have evolved the concept of the green economy and its principles.
